Our little ones’ imaginations can transform anything – anything can be treasure! We were lucky enough to receive a box of fabric strips from a kind community member and we decided to introduce these into the play space and observe what our little ones thought to do.

Our toddlers could not contain their excitement as they transferred the different fabrics from different containers. They wanted to know more and began throwing the fabric into the air in anticipation of it falling back down.  Laughter filled the room (as well as strips of fabric :p). The smiles on our little ones’ faces and the natural learning that was taking place were easily evident!

Children learn through meaningful experiences that engage their heads and their hearts. Next time you are doing a bit of spring cleaning, you might come across forgotten items that can be recycled to create fun and engaging experiences with your little ones. 😊👍
