Shoey has recently been on a great big adventure over the sea - to Canada!!!

After a very long plane ride, he arrived in Vancouver and thought to himself that it looked a lot like New Zealand!

After one day's rest to recover from the jet lag, Shoey set off to explore his surroundings. Shoey enjoyed the beautiful views of The Butchart Gardens in Victoria Island and had to travel there by ferry - called the Coastal Celebration - and he was lucky enough to get a seat by the window! Woohoo!

As his ferry made it's way closer to Victoria Island, he watched the other ferries sail by. When he got to Victoria Island, he began to explore his surroundings and as he did, he smiled at everyone he met - capturing the hearts of passers by. 😊🥰

While walking the streets of Vancouver, Shoey came across the Steam Clock which was so exciting to watch.

He then visited Grouse Mountain and here, he went on a Gondola! Shoey is a bit scared of heights but after some reassurance, he got in and enjoyed the view from above. At Grouse Mountain there was a great big bear statue and Shoey just had to get a picture with it. He wondered whether he would get to see any real bears here? 🤔

Shoey loved exploring Canada and found that not only were the people lovely, but the natural surroundings were beautiful and reminded him of home. 😊
