Anzac Day at Buckle My Shoe!

Recently we acknowledged Anzac Day with our little ones and planned a variety of learning experiences to support their knowledge of this important event. 😊

We explored the poppy as a symbol of remembrance and created wreaths for our Anzac Day display at the front of our centre. Using the children’s story “Anzac Ted”, our little ones discovered more about the role soldiers played from the perspective of a bear and to top it off, we baked some delicious Anzac biscuits to share as a centre for kai time! 💖

At Buckle My Shoe, we believe it is important for our little ones to know more about the world around them and we are so grateful for the soldiers who fought for us many years ago. 😊
