Let's Get Messy - Baby Art!

Babies learn with their senses, so what better way to extend on their learning than by offering them ample opportunity to get messy and creative! Exploring paint and different painting tools are always a favourite and we like to provide these experiences both inside and outdoors for our little learners. 😍🖌🎨

Whether it is the different colours, the feel of the paint between their fingers or just moving the paint and covering different surfaces, our little learners can’t get enough of working with paint as a creative medium. 😊

During these interactions, they are developing their concentration skills, hand-eye coordination skills, as well as strengthening the many little muscles in their fingers. All these skills are vital for future learning experiences.

In some of these painting experiences, we have observed our little learners working collaboratively together on a piece of art, whilst at other times they choose to explore independently. During these creative moments, you cannot help but notice the different facial expressions our little ones display. 💖

Exploring with paint provides a way for children to be creative and express themselves in a healthy and hands-on way.  Not only is the process important, but the end result is an authentic piece of art to take home and liven up any space. 👍😊
